Sara Schmitz Fails to Live Up to Her Stated Values

  • Sara Schmitz’ website cites her three values:  Honesty, Integrity and Appreciation
  • Her behavior during the campaign demonstrates she’s not living up to these values
  • We should expect more of the same if she is elected to be an IVGID trustee

Stated valueHonesty – In my words and actions, authenticity always matters

Her actions:

  • Misrepresented her positions and those of her opponents with doctored “minutes” of a Candidate Forum
  • Lied about her relationship with Aaron Katz as demonstrated when she was witnessed posting one of her campaign signs on his lawn:

Stated valueIntegrity – I strive to do what is morally and ethically right in everything I do – In my words and actions, authenticity always matters

Her actions:

  • Slandered Chairwoman Wong with lies about a funding advocacy letter to Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao
  • Defended her running mate in the face of facts confirming his scandalous Facebook posts
  • Broke Nevada election laws by misleading school officials to allow a campaign sign to be posted at an athletic field:

Stated valueAppreciation – Learn, listen, and lead to the very best of my abilities

Her actions:

  • Criticized senior community members to protect the cabal that supports her by insisting there is no division in the community
  • Defamed IVGID employees by turning her own lack of understanding into major fake issues

We should expect more of the same if she is elected to be an IVGID trustee
